Real estate housing market improving

Real estate sales have climbed up to 5.5% from a level of 4.91% in August, according to National Association of Realtors NAR. In addition, sales of existing homes rose to its highest level in 13 months, in part due to the low interest rates, affordability conditions, and price drops that lured first time buyers, investors, and move up buyers in the market.

Biking 100K for Tour De Cure, Diabetes Ride
Veni, vidi, vici (I came, I saw, I conquered)
Veni, vidi, vici reverberated in my mind and heart while I climbed the rolling hills going towards Auburn, as part of my Tour de Cure diabetes 100K bike ride, or roughly 63 miles, that I do every year in May in the memory of my beloved father who died of diabetes.
Last year I did the 32 miles Tour de Cure bike ride, whereas this year I decided on the 100K ride to challenge myself and make a difference.
Next year I’ll go for the 100 mile bike ride for a worthy cause and to raise awareness about a devastating disease that can be cured in many situations with exercise and proper diet.
I started my bike ride armed with a map of my destination and my green Ipod that I listened to while talking to myself when climbing the steep, numerous hills on my ascent to Auburn. Read the rest of this entry »
